Mattresses
Bulky Clean Up or FREE Drop Off
Mattresses can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Most mattresses can also be dropped off for FREE at our C&D recycling facility (crib and sleeper sofa mattress are subject to drop off fees).

Box Springs
Bukly Clean Up or FREE Drop Off
Box springs can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Box springs can also be dropped off for FREE at our C&D recycling facility.

Furniture
Bulky Clean Up or Drop Off
Most furniture can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Furniture can also be dropped off for a fee at our C&D recycling facility.

Garden Hoses
Trash
Garden and irrigation hoses are generally considered to be at the end of their life, so they are very difficult to recycle.

Bicycles
Bulky Clean Up or FREE* Drop Off
Bicycles can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Bicycles can also be dropped off for FREE* at our C&D recycling facility if they are 100% metal (all plastic & rubber removed), or for a fee if they are not 100% metal.

Pallets
Bulky Clean Up or Drop Off
Must be free of paint and untreated wood. Pallets (up to 4) can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Pallets can also be dropped off for a fee at our C&D recycling facility.

Excess Cardboard
Bulky Clean Up or FREE Drop Off
Excess cardboard can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up as long as it is bagged, boxed, or bundled. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Cardboard can also be dropped off for FREE at our C&D, Downtown, and Goleta recycling facilities.

Appliances

Appliances can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Appliances can also be dropped off for FREE at our C&D recycling facility.

Refrigerators/Freezers
Bulky Clean Up or Drop Off
Refrigerators/freezers can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Also, refrigerators/freezers can be dropped off at our C&D recycling facility for $20, or for FREE if freon is removed (certificate required).

Air Conditioners
Bulky Clean Up or FREE Drop Off
Air conditioners can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Also, air conditioners without freon can be dropped off for FREE at our C&D recycling facility, or for a fee if they still contain freon.

Carpet
*Drop Off at Recycling Center*
Carpet can be dropped off for a fee at our C&D recycling facility. Carpet is recycled as part of the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) program. Carpet is NOT acceptable in a bulky item cleanup.

Small Rugs
Bulky Clean Up or Drop Off
Area rugs (not to exceed 6 ft. in length) can be picked up by MarBorg as part of a scheduled bulky item clean up. Please call us to schedule your bulky item cleanup. Also, area rugs can be dropped off for a fee at our C&D recycling facility.

Propane Tanks
*Drop Off at Recycling Center*
EMPTY propane tanks with all valves removed can be dropped off at our C&D Facility, Downtown or Goleta recycling centers. We must be able to clearly see inside of the tank to verify that it is empty.

Helium Tanks
*Drop Off at Recycling Center*
EMPTY helium tanks with all valves removed can be dropped off at our C&D Facility, Downtown or Goleta recycling centers. We must be able to clearly see inside of the tank to verify that it is empty.

Oxygen Tanks
*Drop Off at Recycling Center*
EMPTY oxygen tanks with regulators removed can be dropped off at our C&D Facility, Downtown or Goleta recycling centers. We must be able to clearly see inside of the tank to verify that it is empty. Or, contact the manufacturer about taking back the tank.

Fire Extinguishers
*Drop Off at Recycling Center*
EMPTY fire extinguishers can be dropped off for free at our Downtown or Goleta recycling centers. If there is any fire retardant in the container, it can be dropped off at our C&D Facility for a fee.
