Mattress Drop-Off
Bye Bye Mattress is a mattress recycling program operated by The Mattress Recycling Council. Bye Bye Mattress allows California residents to drop off their old mattresses and box springs at no-cost at a participating collection site or event. MarBorg Industries’ accepts mattresses (see excluded items below) for drop off during business hours at our C&D Facility located at 119 N. Quarantina St. In the United States alone, consumers discard an estimated 20 million mattresses and box springs each year. Mattresses contain recyclable materials like metal springs and foam that can be turned into other materials.
We do NOT accept the following items as part of this free program:
- Units that are wet, heavily soiled, or infested with bedbugs (or other living organisms)
- Units that are severely damaged, twisted, or frozen
- Air mattresses that contain no upholstery material (such as camping beds)
- Car beds
- Cushions (such as from chairs, couches or patio furniture)
- Juvenile products including, carriages, baskets, dressing tables, strollers, playpens, infant carriers, lounge pad, crib bumpers
- Mattress pads
- Mattress toppers
- Pillows
- Sleeping bags
- Sofa beds
- Collapsible roll-away beds
- Water beds that contain no upholstery material
