Multi-family Residential Bulky Item Collection
Residents in the following areas are eligible for Free Annual Bulky Item Clean Ups. Please review your particular service area for specific program details/rules.

Service Area Rules:
- Buellton Customers
Large bulky-item clean-ups can be scheduled up to four (4) times per year and are available on the first Tuesday of each month. - City of Santa Barbara Customers
All residential customers are eligible for four (4) free bulky item clean ups each calendar year (Limit 5 items per pick up). Tenants are entitled to the free bulky item clean ups as well and may schedule them directly with MarBorg. There is no longer a need to schedule it through the property manager or account holder. - County of Santa Barbara Customers
All residential customers are eligible for four (4) free bulky item clean ups each calendar year (Limit 5 items per pick up). Bulky item clean ups are available for apartments and condos but must be scheduled through the apartment manager or account holder. - Goleta Customers
All residential customers are eligible for four (4) free bulky item clean ups every calendar year (Limit 5 items per pick up). Tenants are entitled to the free bulky item clean ups as well and may schedule them directly with MarBorg. Multi-family units are entitled to a number of pick ups equivalent to the dwelling units in the building or complex. The five (5) item limit per pick up still applies.
Cleanup Program Rules:
- All items must be brought to the roadside by 6:00 AM.
- All items must be generated by the address from which MarBorg is collecting.
- All loose items must be bagged, boxed or bundled.
- Green waste needs to be bundled AND tied. No waste from professional tree trimming.
- MarBorg must be notified of any items that exceed 5 feet in length or 60lbs.
- NO Construction and remodel material.
- Household items only – no boats, Jacuzzis, remodel material, etc.
- NO hazardous waste (paint cans, liquids, etc.).
- Only items that have been communicated to MarBorg at the time of scheduling will be removed. Please contact MarBorg Customer Service prior to your scheduled collection day if you need to amend your list of items.
- Commercial businesses are not eligible for free bulky item collection. MarBorg offers roll-off collection service for a fee for these situations.
- Please contact MarBorg Customer Service to schedule your date to have your items removed.
Pick Up Hours:
All items to be removed must be at the curb by 6:00 AM on the scheduled day.
