Multi-Family Residential Waste Collection
Overview
The City of Santa Barbara requires all multi-family residential properties (5 or more units) to subscribe to trash, recycling and yard waste collection services. Food waste and other non-yard waste organics are allowed in the trash and are recovered at the Santa Barbara County ReSource Center to comply with SB 1383.

Multi-Family Residential Collection Containers
Multi-family residential collection service, known as Large Residential (LGR) in the City, consists of multi-family residences of 5 or more units that are paid centrally. MarBorg Industries typically provides collection service to these customers with bin service in the City. Bins for trash, recycling and yardaste are available in the following sizes: 4-yard, 3-yard, 2-yard and 1.5 yard and they can be serviced up to six (6) days per week.
